"After 56 years in the industry, most of which working suspended deck design, I’ve experienced my fare share of pan decks. Recently I was task with a challenging pan project with an extremely aggressive schedule. The joist and beam design is such that typical pan sizes most vendors have within their inventory aren’t applicable resulting in all pans, both long and lap, needed to be fabricated.
